Invite a Speaker

Do you belong to, or know of, a group, club or event which would welcome a speaker on Homelessness and the work of The Connection at St Martin in the Fields? It might be a WI, a Rotary Club, a U3A group, a church, a community coffee morning, or a youth group; it could be the screening of a relevant film (such as I, Daniel Blake), or a neighbourhood association meeting. Or you might set up a special meeting yourself.

The Friends of the Connection now has a Panel of Speakers, trained and briefed to come out and talk to any group, large or small. Our talks aim:
• to raise awareness about homelessness,
• to engage listeners to think what further action they can take,
• and, where appropriate, to raise funds to support The Connection.
Speakers can come with a Powerpoint presentation, if there is a laptop and projector available, and suitable literature for people to take away.

Our main focus is Greater London and the Home counties, but do try us for venues further afield, as we are ready to travel.

So if you can think of any possibilities, or just want to find out more, please contact Charles Woodd on 07962 213494 or email charleswoodd46@gmail.com, copying your email to friends@cstm.org.uk
