TRUSTEE AND SECRETARY, THE FRIENDS OF THE CONNECTION AT ST.MARTIN-IN-THE-FIELDS

The Friends of The Connection at St.Martin-in-the-Fields is a small membership charity that raises funds for The Connection at St.Martin-in-the-Fields. The Connection, based in Trafalgar Square, supports people to move away from street homelessness in the centre of London. In addition to raising much-needed funds for The Connection, the Friends raises awareness about homelessness and the support available to people who find themselves sleeping on the streets.

The Friends is recruiting a Trustee and Secretary, a role that is ideally suited to a governance professional, or someone qualifying to be one, with a commitment to tackling homelessness and a desire to gain experience of charity management and secretarial support. The Secretary will be a Trustee of the Friends and therefore a member of the Executive Committee which manages the charity, with the support of a part-time member of staff.
